Watchcric APK download? There is none
Watchcric does not publish an APK, and nothing of the kind is on the way for a date we can promise. The app installs from Chrome itself, which is why it lives at this address: Chrome's Install app puts the same icon on the home screen that an APK would, without the file, the download or the unknown-sources setting. Should a packaged app ever be released, its download, size and install steps will appear on this page first.
The way in: install Watchcric from Chrome, three taps and no permission.
What the install from Chrome gives you
An icon on the home screen and in the app drawer, the match list opening full screen, the player's full-screen button filling the display, and the same channels as the website, because it is the website. There is no second copy to keep updated: open the icon and the month's matches are the current ones.
On a television, cast a match from the phone or open app.watchcric.com in the set's own browser; no TV app is needed either.
Questions
A site is offering a "Watchcric APK" for download
It did not come from Watchcric, because Watchcric has never built one. A file like that may carry anything; leave it alone. Chrome installs the real thing from app.watchcric.com with nothing downloaded.
Does the Chrome install need a permission or a setting?
No. Unknown sources, Play Protect and storage permissions are all about APK files. An install from Chrome asks for nothing and changes no setting on the phone.
The player stays black after a match is opened
Give it a few seconds and tap play once; the first load is the slowest. If it stays black, an ad blocker, a private DNS or a VPN may be holding the player's scripts back: allow app.watchcric.com there and reload the page.
