Install the Watchcric app on Android
The Watchcric app is not in the Play Store, and there is no APK to fetch: Chrome installs it from the site itself. Once it is on the home screen it behaves like any other app, with its own icon, a full-screen match list and no address bar around the player. Nothing is downloaded beyond the icon, and no permission is asked for.
One tap, and Chrome does the rest. If the button does nothing, the three steps below reach the same place.
Watchcric is already installed on this phone — open it from the home screen.
Expecting an APK? There is none; that page says why.
1Open app.watchcric.com in Chrome
Type app.watchcric.com into Chrome's address bar and let the match list load. Chrome may offer Install app straight away in a strip at the bottom of the page; tapping it skips to step 3. Otherwise tap the three dots at the top right.
2Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
The menu shows one wording or the other depending on the phone; both lead to the same box with the Watchcric icon in it.
3Tap Install
Choose Install (some phones say Add). The icon lands on the home screen and in the app drawer, next to the apps from the store.
Tap the three lines at the bottom right, then Add page to, then Home screen, then Add. The small install icon that sometimes appears in the address bar is a shortcut to the same box.

Open Watchcric from its icon: the match list fills the screen, and a tap on a fixture starts the player. To send a match to a television, the TV guide covers casting from the phone.
If something is different
Neither "Install app" nor "Add to Home screen" is in the menu
The page has opened inside another app's built-in browser, from a WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram link, and those cannot install anything. Copy app.watchcric.com, open Chrome yourself and paste it in.
The icon opens, but with Chrome's address bar on top
Chrome made a plain bookmark shortcut rather than installing. Remove that icon and go through the three steps again, choosing Install in the last box rather than Create shortcut.
How do I remove it later?
Hold the icon and choose Uninstall, as for any app. Nothing else is left behind; the matches were never stored on the phone.
